Frequently Asked Questions

We understand you need answers fast. Here are the most common questions our technicians receive regarding oven and stove repairs.

In an electric oven, this is almost always caused by a burned-out bake or broil element, or a faulty temperature sensor. In a gas oven, it is typically a weak or broken igniter. Both of these are standard repairs that our technicians can usually fix on the spot during their first visit.
If you smell a strong gas odor, turn off the burner immediately and ventilate the room. The clicking sound means the spark ignition system is trying to work. This issue is usually caused by a clogged burner cap, food debris blocking the spark electrode, or a faulty ignition module. Our licensed techs can safely clean or replace these parts.
We follow the "50% Rule." If your oven is more than 10 years old and the cost of the repair is more than 50% of the price of a brand-new unit, we will honestly advise you to replace it. However, issues like broken elements, sensors, or hinges are highly cost-effective to repair and can add years to the life of your appliance.
